10 Feb Second annual Victoria One Act Play Festival is returning!

Welcome back to the second annual Victoria One Act Play Festival.

In our inaugural year, we had 10 incredible plays which highlighted the work of over 90 artists in the writing, acting, directing and producing of each play. Every production was also sold out with over 360 patrons seeing these first-time local productions. We had nothing but glowing reviews for the productions. Victoria has some truly amazing talent.

We are excited to be back at the Belfry June 5-8 for more unforgettable One Act Plays.

Applications open for 2024

Applications close March 10th, 2024 to be considered for inclusion in the One Act Festival.

• All plays must be one-acts of between 10 – 60 minutes. No exceptions.
• Please only submit 1 play per group.
• Ensure you have the cast and crew to pull the play together, and that you have thought about where you will rehearse. Scripts with minimal set, costume, and prop requirements are preferred. You will only have 10 minutes to setup the stage before your show.
• No member of any Professional Performing Arts Union may participate in any capacity.
• New works are highly encouraged but not required. New works are defined as original productions that have not been fully produced or adjudicated in the past.
• We are not considering theatre for young audiences at this time.
• The entry fee to participate is $25 and is due upon receipt of acceptance into the festival.
